As a mom to a passionate gamer (seriously, I often joke that gaming is his full-time occupation!), I'm constantly looking for ways to keep the "entertainment center" - i.e., his desk - from becoming a black hole of controllers and headphones. When I came across the KDD Wall Mount Controller & Headset Stand Holder, I knew I had to give it a try. I'm a big proponent of wall storage for anything that can be lifted off a surface, and this seemed like the perfect solution to free up valuable desk space for things that can't be mounted, like, say, homework or a cup of soda without the fear of it spilling all over expensive electronics! Installation was surprisingly straightforward, mostly just a matter of clicking the pieces into place. The main challenge, as with any wall-mounted item, was the drilling. I'll admit, my initial attempt to get the back piece secured to the drywall wasn't exactly a masterpiece, resulting in a few thumbtacks making a temporary appearance! However, my husband, being the expert he is, had it leveled and securely drilled into the wall in under a minute with the included screws and anchors. Once that main piece was up, the rest just slid on perfectly. Speaking of sturdiness, I'm genuinely impressed. Even though it's primarily made of hard plastic rather than metal, it feels incredibly durable and solid once mounted. It comfortably holds his Xbox controllers and headset without any wobble or sense of flimsiness. It really does make the whole setup look so much neater and more intentional, a vast improvement from controllers just strewn about. My only minor quibble, and it's purely aesthetic, is a slightly odd piece that sticks out on the front, almost like it's designed for a future attachment that isn't included or I just haven't discovered yet. It looked a bit unfinished to me, but a few Spider-Man stickers quickly solved that problem, turning it into a fun, personalized touch rather than something that looked "missing." Overall, this KDD wall mount has been a fantastic addition to my son's gaming area. It absolutely delivers on its promise of getting those essential gaming accessories off the desk and neatly organized on the wall. It’s definitely freed up space, which is a huge win for us. Considering the price, it feels like a really good value. If you're a parent (or anyone!) looking to bring some order to a gaming setup, I would absolutely recommend this handy little organizer. This controller stand holder works out for some of my classic wii accessories. It stands up well and holds the controllers without sliding off.
