I guilt ordered this in "Lamb" for our 6-month-old. We had been using those "normal" hooded baby towels. You know the ones - they come in multi-packs and are hardly thicker than a nice paper towel. Our daughter is a bit of a chunky baby (28 inches, 19 pounds, and the most wonderful baby thighs you've ever seen), and those towels could barely wrap her up without some body part being exposed. If babies could feel embarrassment, she would have probably been mortified. I searched and searched for a "nice" hooded towel and settled on this one. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is amazing. It is large (it covers her completely with plenty of extra fabric - HALLELUJAH!) and thick without being too thick (like a luxury adult towel). It is absorbent and SUPER soft. My daughter has extremely sensitive skin, and this is wonderful against it. We have used this more than a dozen times, and it has held up in the washer and dryer like a dream. Plus, it's so adorable. She has a little lamb on her head for crying out loud. I had purchased just one to start with to see how we liked it, and now I'll definitely be purchasing more. I don't know if she will be able to use these up to the age of 5 or not, but we'll certainly get at least a couple more years out of them. Read more
