I work in healthcare and have worn this for two pregnancies while working! It gives great support while on my feet and bending over so much. It is light weight, breathable, comfortable, and stays in place. It is easy to take on and off by myself, and the Velcro has held up for two pregnancies. This is the third maternity belt I have gotten, and I currently have no need to get another. The first was a nude color for wearing under clothing, and it works fine, but it makes odd/unflattering stiff lines/bulges under or over clothing from sitting/bending while wearing it. (Otherwise it is comparable to this maternity band.) The nude color looks much more hospital/bandage-ish to me, and is quite conspicuous over clothing, but not comfortable under clothing without a layer under it, which gets warm most of the year where I live. I then bought a second belt in black, so that I could wear it less conspicuously over clothing and not feel like a therapy patient or something. I was experiencing "lightning crotch," so I tried a taller band figuring that it would be more supportive which should help. That band certainly felt more supportive, but the part around the waist loosened up in 1-2 days (due to the way it attaches) so that it wasn't always as supportive. It needed to be adjusted just so and was made up of multiple pieces that needed to be readjusted after every bathroom break, so it became annoying and frustrating very quickly and I decided to try to find a black band that would be less frustrating. I tried this band, which is less tall than my second band, 1 piece, supportive, yet flexible and comfortable. It does not create a feeling of excessive pressure on the baby belly, yet is supportive. It also is less stiff than my original maternity band, so it doesn't have those odd ridges/bulges on the front of the thigh/waist area from sitting/bending while wearing it. I've been wearing it for 1-2 weeks now and it is doing great. My only complaint about it is that there are still some small horizontal "lines" that look white/light on the black elastic band. If this were remedied, the belt would be more subtle. For reference, this is my fourth pregnancy, hence the larger belly needing a little support. I bought the first band while I was expecting number 3 and the elastic is doing great, so I expect this band to hold up well also. I pulled out my maternity band around 27 weeks this pregnancy because I started experiencing "lightning crotch." I can tell wearing the band helps when I need to hold/carry my almost 40 pound toddler (which I've definitely been cutting back on, but I still need to hold him sometimes, to lift him onto the changing table or put him in bed, etc.) I also got back to exercising, which is greatly helping with the lightning crotch symptoms, swelling, and varicose veins this pregnancy. This band is comfortable and supportive. It is very adjustable to keep up with my growing belly. My only complaint is that the velcro is too strong. I struggle to get it on and off myself and have to have my husband help me get it apart again. Read more

This is a great belly band! Ive tried a couole including the momcozy brand and this was a dream. All the others felt uncomfortable or rolled. This stayed completely in place and hides pretttly well under cloths. It also provided a pretty significant amount of pain relief. I ordered an XL which fits bit is just a bit too big but im keeping so I can grow into it. Im buying one more in a smaller size (size large) until i get bigger ehen i can transition back to the xl. I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but this was so great that it deserves a solid review. I’m five months pregnant and I’m still relatively small, but it fits me perfectly! I’m measuring at 27 inches on the lower end, so I’m relieved it fit. I’ve been struggling with round ligament pain. When I put it on, I felt IMMEDIATE relief. I was able to fold my laundry and bend over with ease. I find that it’s best to use if I’m doing something more tiring or doing chores in general. I’m very active and try to make it to the gym nearly every day, so this is really helpful to give me a break! My only advice is to use it in moderation. I’ve heard that using it for more than 2-3 hours can cause you to be reliant on the brace. Read more

I’ve been avoiding buying pregnancy related items, but this is a must-have for me. At 30 weeks baby started to get really heavy. Got the belt at 31 weeks and it is now the only way I can get through an active day. I started out just by wearing it at home, but then I actually put it under a dress to wear out for errands. You could see it under the dress, so it wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t THAT noticeable and still beat me trying to carry my belly all over Costco. I’m a relatively small person (sans belly) but the fit is adjustable so no issue there. It’s comfortable enough to wear both over clothing and directly on the skin.
