This vest is the perfect way to dress up a simple outfit. It completes and styles any basic layer. The material is a thick, true denim. I found this to fit true to size, although it depends on the look you’re going for. The only reason I deducted a star is because the product description is contradictory. It says that the pockets are fake pocket flaps, but it also states that the pockets allow for storage. I do wish that this vest had proper pockets, at least for my phone and/or car key. Overall I really like this denim vest. I got it in the lighter blue and it looks great in person, just like the pictures. It is really cute and the denim fabric definitely feels like a high quality. It's not too thin or flimsy. It does run slightly wide in my opinion. I am 5'4" and about 150lbs with an apple body shape. I hold most of my weight in my midsection, so I typically get shirts in a large so that it doesn't get too tight across my wide shoulders or my belly. This in a large has even more extra room in it than I need, width wise. It is a shorter/cropped length intentionally, and looks great that way. I would say if you are between sizes, go to the smaller size. Read more
