My dress came with a garment bag, but it was very thin, and I loved that this could fold up into a bag in case they did not have room in the closet on the plane. This protected my dress so well! It is plenty big for my very large dress and train. The bag had to go through multiple scanners when going through TSA and it got a bit dirty, but never ripped! This garmet bag is EVERYTHING! My soon to be husband and I are surprising each other with our wedding garments so this works out perfect! Its black to hide my dress but it does have a small, clear, window that allows the bride to verify the correct dress is inside just in case she has multiple (like myself). Its easy to place a piece of paper on the inside of the window with a small piece of tape if you want to hide it completely. I'm also able to fold the bottom of the bag to the top so it shortens the length but still protects my dress. I've used it to travel to my seamstress and it made it seamless! Bought this so I could carry my wedding dress on a plane. The tri-fold aspect folds it down to much smaller than you'd expect, which was great. The two tote-style straps are adjustable, which is nice, except they kept slipping out of the plastic adjuster piece. It also doesn't have a shoulder strap, so was uncomfortable to carry. Read more
