By far our favorite splurge item that has been worth every penny. We have used this since day one with our first and will continue using it with our second. This changing pad is portable but also so sturdy. So easy to clean and does not hold any smells from any messes or cleaners. It does have a safety strap that sticks to the bottom of the pad. Because it is so sturdy it can be used easily anywhere around the house or even on the go. We have even loaded this in the car when on a roadtrip so we could easily change diapers anywhere anytime. Seriously if you are debating between this one and any of the less expensive options don’t waste your time with the other ones. We got the skip hop version for MIL to have at her house and it is much less sturdy than the keekaroo. Read more

When shopping for baby registry, I heard a lot about the cult following of the Keekaroo and was skeptical because of the price. Did a ton of research vs Skip Hop, Hatch Grow, Bumbo, OXO, and several other wipeable changing pads. Decided to buy the Keekaroo due to size, squishiness and overall reviews. Cons: - I did notice it stains easily, even after cleaning up immediately. Initially, we were concerned about the staining but after putting it in sun, the stains went away. - It’s cold! Your LO will get used to this after a few weeks. Ours doesn’t cry when being set down on it anymore. Pros: - EASY cleanup. I can’t imagine having one of the standard changing pads that are cloth. Our newborn is messy and with the Keekaroo, pee fountains are contained and diarrhea, poop, and spit up are all cleaned easily. Keep paper towels or other cloths around to absorb messes, and sanitizing wipes to disinfect. - Size and color are great. The vanilla color is very aesthetically pleasing. - Made in the USA!! Love love love!! This changing pad is awesome, has gripping on the bottom so does not slide around when changing my baby. Easy to clean, any messes just wipe away and if there is an accident it stays contained on the pad. I Bought fabric covers to lay on the pad due to pad just being cold and making baby more comfortable! Lightweight and comfortable for baby, comes with a safety strap. I originally thought the price was pretty steep for a changing pad, but after using this, I absolutely love it and fully understand the hype. The quality is outstanding. It’s soft, supportive, and feels very well made. I never worry about my baby’s head or body when I set her down on it—it feels comfortable and secure, and she honestly seems content laying on it for a while. That peace of mind alone makes it worth it. Cleanup is incredibly easy. The material is fully water resistant and stain resistant, which is huge for a changing pad. On days when I don’t feel like wiping everything down, I’ll sometimes place a disposable potty pad on top, then just toss it after the change—super convenient. I also love the neutral vanilla color, which looks great in the nursery. The material itself is surprisingly soft, not cold or plasticky like some wipeable pads. I really like the shape as well. A lot of changing pads have raised sides or basket-style walls, and I can’t imagine those holding up as well over time. This design feels like it gently keeps baby in place without getting in the way or feeling restrictive. This is one of my favorite baby products. I bought this before my little was born and now she is 3 and I still have it out and use it when needed even though she is fully potty trained. I’m not sure why someone would by the changing pads that have covers when blow outs and accidents happen. I love that this is wipeable and very easy to clean. I am all about low maintenance products.
