I own a dozen pairs of skinny chinos so I know how they usually fit. That said, I ordered a size up in 38 just to get a little breathing room so they’re comfortable in the nether regions and ended up getting what feels like 4 inches too tight in the waist. I can barely fit into them and I haven’t even washed them yet (95% cotton btw so make sure to wash cold and hang dry if you decide to buy them anyways).
