Not worth it.
Do you remember using Ivory Bar Soap YEARS ago - well, this is what this soap reminded me of - the scent is okay, but the lather last for nano seconds and then you are left with the whiteish colored dish water that absolutely does nothing. I tried this with "scrubby", and dish brush, and a washcloth. Nothing made a difference. I guess I'll go back to liquid in the bottle. Read more

Works
Smells nice and seems to clean well. Tried to follow the instructions and make it into liquid soap, but it didn't work. Unfortunately, the soap hardened inside the glass container instead of turning liquid. I never tried it before, so I'll guess it was a user error. My only complaint is that this soap feels a bit oily, and it leaves some residue in my sink after use. Overall, this product works as expected and felt ok for my sensitive skin. Smell is wonderful, product use is just okay
This product is just okay. It smells wonderful. The lather is decent but not outstanding. I honestly think basic bar soap leathers more. I wanted to love washing dishes with this, but for me, regular dishwashing liquid just works much better Read more

Weird concept, but ultimately wonderful to use
I had never heard of a dish soap bar, but these are a great no-plastic and cost-effective option for keeping my dishes clean! I love the lavender scent. I simply place the bar near my sink, pour my hot water, dip my Scrub Daddy in the water, then pass it over the soap bar a few times before washing my dishes. I reapply the soap to my sponge after every 3 or 4 items. I plan to continue using these exclusively once I use up the last of my final bottle of dish soap. Read more
Too Much Scum
Really wanted to like this product! This soap is crafted nicely with an Artisinal feel. Smells wonderful of clean linen and lavender and provides soft and soothing suds but leaves thick soap scum after every use. From washing the dishes to use in the shower, using this soap put me through much more work and product than intended to clean simple dirty dishes vs common liquid soap. After every session I would have to scrub my sink/tub rigorously to get the thick scum out. Even tried turning it into liquid like suggested, but once melted, the ingredients separate easily and it loses its effectiveness to provide a thorough clean. Read more
