Really Nice Bag!
This is a really nice bag! It washes in the washer and dries in the dryer well. The corduroy is soft. It has a nice lining, too, with some open pockets and a zippered pocket. It is a nice, expensive-looking, kind of silky-feeling lining, too. The lining is not sewn in at the bottom, but I don't remember it being an issue with it coming out when I washed it. I don't think it would be an issue when filling the bag, because it has a little bit of weight to it. You could also pull it out to facilitate drying if you hung it up to dry. It appears to be a well made bag, and I think it looks pretty sharp! It did not fade in the wash, but the color did run - I got the black. So, wash it with black or other dark colors. It is a large bag, just like the pictures show. The only two things I would change about this bag is to have a zippered, outside pocket on each side of the bag (there is only one), and to make the bag smaller. If it were about two inches smaller in width, that would be really great. I looked at a lot of bags before I chose this one, and they were all large like this one. It must be a trend or something. I think a smaller bag would be easier to carry. Plus, if you didn't need to carry a lot of items, they wouldn't be swimming around in a big bag - even if they were in smaller cosmetic bags. The handles are sturdy, and a good length to carry on your shoulder. The zippers all work just fine. This bag doesn't sit up on its own. It folds easily, in half. It would be a plus if it had a sturdy, bottom piece that you could remove to wash and dry the bag. I would buy this bag again. But, I sure wish it were smaller in width. It would make a good travel bag (for light things, like clothing), but not necessarily a good, everyday handbag at this size, or an everyday totebag to carry a lot of heavy books in.
