The belt is very sturdy and well made. The adjustment strip and buckle are heavy duty and give positive clicks and tactile feedback when making adjustments. The buckle is stylish and color matched to the belt itself and doesn't have any gold or silver accents that might clash with jewelry or other accoutrements. The fit was ideal and true to size so I haven't had to make any cuts so can't comment on how that process might work. The belt is marked with one-inch increments such that cuts can be lined up and measured out easily. The only slight gripe is that the blue belt is very dark blue; so much so that I have to get in a bright light to distinguish the blue from the black. I like this belt, but it is not TSA friendly. It will set off metal detectors. But I do like that the buckle can be easily removed and putting it back on is easy. The ratchet function is much much better than the belt with the holes. And you can trim the belt to fit as needed if you are losing weight. Read more

I always had problems with belt loops. No matter what brand, I could never get the right size. Too loose or too tight, it never worked right. I tried a different brand before this one that wouldn’t hold, but this belt has been perfect. I’ve been wearing it daily for over 2 years now and I love it. After about 18 months, I had to refit the buckle due to normal wear and tear, but it was quick and easy and everything continues to work properly and be comfortable. Love these belts! Read more
