Love this coffee maker. The stop and serve works great with no leaks, reliable timer, and the grinder works well. It doesn’t quite grind enough in my opinion, so I do 3/4 of a pot and it’s perfect. We did have an issue with ours after 11 months, it stopped brewing coffee. I messaged customer support for ideas to repair it, and instead they sent a brand new unit within a week. Awesome customer service and a great coffee pot. Read more

NOT worth the trouble buying. It worked great for a few months, but then the grinder pretty much quit working. Read more

I love, love love this coffee maker! I had this exact coffee maker that I bought from Sears before they went out of business. It lasted for a few years before it quit. I tried to get it again before Sears sold everything out, couldn't get it. I loved it so much, I tried to get it repaired and couldn't. I gave up and bought 2 different ones that are just ok. I was starting to look for a grinder because half way through a container of coffee, it loses it flavor. To my surprise this popped up as a suggestion! I got a "like new" one from Amazon warehouse and couldn't be happier! If this box was ever opened, I couldn't tell, this thing is brand spanking new, works great and all is right with the world, well at least mine for the first hour of the day. It's a bit of a learning curve if you aren't familiar with it, but like I said, I've had it before. When you clean it out for the first it'll leak because there isn't a filter or coffee in there, don't send it back, put coffee in it after the initial cleaning, and it won't leak, also, grind it a little finer than the medium grind, the finer the grand, the more flavorful the coffee because it takes long for the water to run through. Edit: it started to leak really badly, I kind of think that's from the Amazon warehouse fixing it, I could be wrong. It was too far after the return date when I called Amazon, they did credit me $25 which I was happy to receive. I bought a silicone dish drying mat and still use it everyday, it makes a fantastic cup of coffee still, so I'll deal with it until it goes completely out, and would still consider buying it again Read more

This coffee maker is simple to use and easy to clean. It makes 12 cups and keeps the coffee nice and hot. Little chance for the grinder to clog since there are no complicated filter cassettes to hold up the grounds, only a short chute straight from the grinder and down into the filter basket. Two minor complaints: coffee is not strong enough for my taste (like most makers, so that is mainly me), and the beans tend to hang up in the hopper and starve the grinder a bit, giving very weak coffee. Fix the second problem by unscrewing the bean deflector that sits over the grinder and toss it. It works just fine without it! For stronger coffee, I wish manufacturers gave us more control over the grinder settings. Either wider range in the strength settings, or a simple extended grinder-time control to bump the program up by 0-50%. My work-around, when I want to bother, is to use the weakest strength setting and grind twice. To do this you have to fool the controller by unplugging the maker right after the first grind, plug it back in, and restart a new brew cycle. Read more

This coffee maker is the best! Very happy with it ! The plate stays hot for 2hours & the grinder is a burr grinder. While some reviews say it is loud-while grinding , it may be a little— but that doesn’t bother me at all….. Makes terrific coffee!! Read more

Advertised as a 12 cup coffee maker. Hole drilled in the back of water reservoir at approximately the 10 cup mark on the decanter. When the hole is plugged and filled to the 12 cup water line on the side of the reservoir, it still fills the decanter to less than than 12 cups. When grinding coffee, apparently there is a door to keep the grounds from going into the filter While grinding, but after the door opens, the grounds are packed so tight into the ground shoot that they do not drop into the filter. On my second attempt to grind the coffee I opened the cleaning hatch for cleaning the ground shoot so I could push the grounds into the filter when the door opened. Apparently the bean grinder uses pressure to turn itself off because the fresh ground coffee came out of the top hatch and kept coming until I was able to block the opening and hold enough pressure to stop the grinder. One glaring problem that I see is that the steam from brewing coffee goes up through the grind shoot and into the grinder and bean reservoir moistening the bottom layer of coffee beans, so they are damp when they get ground up and get stuck in the shoot. Full disclosure, I had brewed several pots of pre-ground coffee through the machine before trying to use the grinder not all at once mind you but approximately one pot a day for four days before trying to use the grinder. Overall, this product is just a bad design. I don’t know what the extra hole in the back of the water reservoir is about if this is just a singular defect in one machine then their quality control sucks if instead, it is actually misrepresented as a 12 cup coffee machine and all of them are sold with this hole then they are just crooks and I question whether this is an actual Kenmore product. Regardless, this product does not deserve to have the elite emblem placed upon it. It’s not even elite adjacent. Read more

Worked great and loved every cup of coffee, but not even a full year, and it stopped working. No longer will it dispense water. We've cleaned it along the way. Disappointed to be searching for another coffee maker. Read more

I know that this coffee maker is a little expensive but it is so convenient and easy to use. You do not have to add coffee beans every day as we had to with our other coffee maker. It grinds very quietly. I definitely recommend this coffee maker. Read more
