4.9 stars with thousands of reviews for butter? But not just any butter, it's Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter. We were used to just buying the Kirkland brand butter for years... It's good, don't get me wrong and it has a time and place, but Kerrygold is on a whole different level. It's revitalized simple buttered toast for me. It's rich in flavor, perfectly salty, spreads easily across the toast. It's now my go to butter of choice for just about anything. I have attempted to bake with it yet, but soon enough I'll give it a try if I can stop eating just buttered toast. I do like the size because it's the equivalent of two sticks of butter in one pack, but it does mean that if you want it in your traditional butter tray, you're probably going to have to cut it in half the long way. I primarily use Kerrygold in applications where its superior taste can truly stand out: slathered generously on warm toast or cinnamon raisin bread, melted over a stack of fluffy pancakes, as a luxurious topping for grilled steak or burgers, and as the flavorful base for any butter-based sauces. For most everyday cooking where butter is more of a background ingredient, I'll use a less expensive unsalted stick. But for those moments when butter is meant to be a star, Kerrygold is the best!
