However, those same cute appliques are incredibly scratchy against bare skin, making an undershirt an absolute necessity rather than an option. The fit is quite generous, leaning heavily into the oversized trend, so I’d recommend sizing down if you want to avoid looking like you’re drowning in holiday cheer. Practicality isn't its strong suit either, as the hand-wash-only requirement is a bit of a chore for a seasonal piece. But the real kicker—and the part that will either make you laugh or cringe—is the text on the back. Due to what I assume is a bold design choice or a hilarious manufacturing oversight, it simply reads “ychrist.” Whether that’s a cryptic holiday greeting or just a bizarre oversight, it certainly makes the sweater a conversation starter at any party.
