I have had my keyboard for about 5 years and I love it. (If it died tomorrow, is buy it again.) But I have worn off many letters at this point. I had purchased a similar cover for my laptop and I love the feel of it, and the fact that it keeps it clean. So I found they made a cover for my favorite keyboard. I wish they had more color options. The fit is snug, but not restricting. Keys are still smooth and even quieter than before. Love it! Read more
Love it! Was a bit dubious, but was tired of trying to get crumbs out of my keyboard -- in fact, my keyboard had just died (?because of crumbs?) and I was buying a new one and thought I would give this a try. It fits perfectly, feels like a normal keyboard, and makes me forget it is there -- until I have to peel it off and shake it off to get rid of crumbs, and cat hair, and whatnot. Definitely worth getting. Read more
This keyboard cover is perfect for my MX Keys S. I mainly got it to protect against dust and spills, and it fits like a glove. The clear silicone is almost invisible and doesn't block the backlight at all. The only real trade off is the typing feel. It adds a little bit of a mushy layer over the keys, but it also makes typing quieter. For the price, it's a solid investment to keep my keyboard clean and in good shape. I'm happy with it! Read more
Fits the keyboard like a glove, just not the kind you put on your hands. I suppose you could try wearing it as a glove, but typing afterward might get a little complicated. As a keyboard cover, it performs extremely well. It fits the Logitech MX Keys perfectly, it does not slide around, and it keeps crumbs, dust, and small spills from getting between the keys. The typing feel stays surprisingly solid, and it is easy to lift off and clean when needed. If you want to keep your keyboard looking new and avoid digging out mystery debris, this is a simple and effective upgrade. Read more
I type so much that I consistently wear the painted letters off my keyboard. I didn’t think an otherwise perfect keyboard needed replacing and the cost of replacing the keys was stupid, so I tried this. They do get a bit worn after a year, but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper to replace it than replace the keyboard! Read more
tl;dr: ones with printed keys are not compatible with MX Keys S. I own both the original MX Keys and recently purchased the MX Keys S. I bought the latter due to cat hair getting under my original keyboards keys after years, and part of the key connection breaking when going to clean it. Therefore, when I bought the MX Keys S last month, I wanted a keyboard cover to avoid that issue. Layout Issues While the MX Keys and MC Keys S have the same key layout size, the actual keys themselves differ. Unfortunately, the cover I purchased with black keys printed on top is only compatible with the original MX Keys. It reflects that key layout for the function keys, as the MX Keys S refreshed the order of keys. Unfortunately, this made it fairly unusable with the MX Keys S, if I wasn't going to customize all of the keys to match. Control Lights Next thing that's unfortunate is the control lights. You actually can't really see the light for keys like Caps Lock shine through the small hole — the light ends up diffused instead. This made it had to tell whether caps lock was on or off. Functionality/Comfort Otherwise, the cover was good, and I had no major issues. It took a day or two to get used to, since it definitely dampen the click feel of the keys but after that it was fine. If you have the original MX Keys, feel free to purchase with the above cons if they're not table stakes for you. If you have the MX Keys S, I'd recommend only purchasing the clear one, finding another product, or accepting that you'll need to customize all of the function keys. Read more
