After owning Logitech Lift and MX Vertical, the Keychron M5 is the first vertical mouse that actually fits my larger hand comfortably. The shape is taller, fuller, and supports the palm much better. My wrist stays relaxed even after long work sessions. Great sensor accuracy — smooth tracking even at high DPI. Surprisingly comfortable angle — feels more natural than MX Vertical. Side scroll wheel is extremely useful once customized. Keychron Launcher works right in the browser and saves settings to the mouse itself — no background apps needed. Build quality feels solid, clicks are crisp, and switching between devices is seamless. The buttons and scroll wheels feel slightly unusual in the beginning, but after a day or two the mouse becomes extremely natural to use. If Logitech Lift felt too small, or MX Vertical wasn’t fully comfortable, the Keychron M5 is absolutely worth trying. For me, it became the most comfortable vertical mouse I’ve used so far. Read more

Works as advertised BUT it is made for tiny hands so it doesn't work for my 6'5" framed hands. Probably nice if you're under 5'10" for hand size. Going to save it for my wife when she needs another mouse. Just really wish companies would make different size mice - could use the vertical mouse, but the size has my hand dragging on the desktop. Works great, no complaints so far. Buttons feel great. Sensor has been working without any tracking issues. Managed to Connect to Macbook as well with Bluetooth without any issues. Size is perfect for my hands Read more

First, great build quality. The mouse feels solid and performs just as good as any other “gaming” mouse I own. I think the vertical design fits my hand perfect. This is subjective and your mileage may vary. But, it has helped with my wrist pain during long gaming sessions or scrolling socials for way too long. Some other reviewers have slammed keychrons web based programming tool. I think it’s just fine. I don’t need to change any settings on my house that often, so pulling up a website once every couple months to toy with things is no big deal Read more

Light and flimsy, this feels like one of those really cheap throwaway mice you get packed in with a Dell PC. I would also avoid if you have larger hands, as I could not find a comfortable way to hold it where I could also properly actuate the main mouse buttons. Either I could hold it comfortably, or I could use it. Which sort of defeats the point of this sort of mouse. If this mouse were $10 it might be worth it, but this feels nothing like the premium product that its asking price suggests. Read more

The size is ok, but the it's not weighted properly, so it will lift with sudden movements. Wouldn't use this for gaming, despite the sufficient polling rate. There is no dongle storage on the device, so I already lost it. It's not that hard to make a hole to put the dongle in. The buttons feel cheap and the plastic brittle, doesn't feel like it will last. I have both the MX Vertical and the M5. I like how light weight this one is, plus it has a horizontal scroll wheel. I don't think you can go wrong with either but the cheaper price on the M5 is what makes this one more valuable Read more
