***I would recommend everyone size up!!*** this review is just for the White set, but I will come back and add any other suggestions if the other colors are different. The bottoms are more mid-rise and hit at/just below my belly button and while having an extremely elastic waistband (it’s actually about a 2” thick band which is super cute!), it’s a little snug even though it technically “fits”. I ended up exchanging my small for a medium and the fit was much more comfortable! This is important, especially if you are more curvy in the back! The top is meant to be oversized, so it won’t affect the overall look or fit.*** I LOVE these so much, I’m actually going to order the other colors. The details on the set are so attractive and flattering! Also, I was worried that the straps on the top would constantly fall off my shoulders but the way it’s designed they stay right in place and I didn’t have to adjust them even once. I loved that these are light as air, but they have a “weighty” feel making them look and feel expensive. They are wonderful for hot sleepers, the material is already a slightly “crushed” or lightly “crinkled” look so I appreciate that I’m pretty much 100 sure they’re going to wash well and won’t have to worry about wrinkles! The top is meant to look very oversized so sizing up one or even two sizes won’t affect the style. I would actually wear these out, not just to bed if it was summer!! I would personally dress these up with some strappy heels or go casual with some high tops or sandals. The material is so soft and silky feeling on the body and not scratchy or cheap feeling! I was not expecting this to exceed my expectations and almost didn’t purchase because they weren’t going to be the “soft cotton” but they ended up being better than I could have imagined. I love this ruffled two piece short set. It's perfect for lounging around the house or to sleep in. The lilac color is really pretty. I need 6 more so I have one for each night of the week. I ordered the pink which is not what I thought the color would be. It seemed brighter on the description photo but it’s a dull pink. It washes against my skin color. I was going to return it to get the yellow but I changed my mind. I’m going to keep it and get another color. Minus 1/2 point for the color discrepancy. The fabric which is 100% polyester of cotton is soft and flowy. The design is feminine. It feels comfy to wear. According to the size chart, it points to go with medium. My hips are 40”; waist is 35”. I’m 5 ft 3 inches. I got the medium and it fits perfectly. I washed it under NORMAL wash and it came out fine. No thread snags or reduction of size. I Dried it under GENTLE DRY, and no shrinkage, either. And, since it is 100% polyester, it came out of dryer ready to wear. Overall, I highly recommend. Feminine design. Comfy to wear. These are super cute and look just like the picture. Definitely true to size. I’m 223 and the 2x is just right. Not too big or too small. The color is as seen. The material is very nice and soft. No reason to complain at all at least not for me . I ordered 10 sets while they were on sale. I rarely buy PJs. Read more
