KIAURA Kaufmann Polarized Sunglasses UV400 Protection Memory Acetate Frames XL Original Sizes

I purchased these, KIAURA Kaufmann Polarized Sunglasses, UV400 Protection, Memory Acetate Frames, XL & Original Sizes. Let's give a lil' shout out for my male "model" Kyle! I selected the "whiskey" color once again. I have previously purchased 2 different versions of Kiaura sunglasses, and am glad I made this my third purchase. This particular design tends to have a wider appearance than some of the other Kiaura frames. I believe it has a wider top edge which looks better on a medium to wider width face. I've included a picture of these on "Kyle" and myself, and I typically can wear men's eyeglasses frames width-wise. These come boxed and in a neat signature triangular case. They include a QR code with their card, and a nice lense polishing cloth. These lenses are scratch resistant and lightweight so they don't tend to slide down your face as much as heavier lenses do. When well lit, you can see into the lenses a little, but in all lighting, seeing out is easily done. The polarized lenses are one of the reasons this is my third purchase-they truly reduce glare and especially help while driving. The frame has flex hinges and they are made of acetate, which is a quality material that's highly durable. This "whiskey" color is great for redheads, and for brunettes with warmer tones in their hair. Ultimately, the fact that this is my third purchase of this brand at around $140/150 each, says everything. These frames are superb quality, fit well, and offer great visibility while shading the eyes at the same time. I feel this is a good value for the exceptional quality. Thank you Kyle. Read more

These sunglasses don't come cheap, but once you get your hands on a pair you'll realize they're worth it. To start, they're gorgeous - from the classic design to the subtle gold accents. I got the deep blue and at first I thought I was accidentally given black because indoors they do look black, but take them out in the sun and that gorgeous, deep blue shows itself. My wife commented on how great they looked in the sun. But looks aren't everything. I'm happy to say that these sunglasses are exceptionally well made. They're heavy in a good way; that way that tells you you're holding a product that's made to last. They fit my head perfectly and don't try to slide or fall off, which is a problem I have with many pairs of glasses. The lenses block sunlight and glare very well and seem quite sturdy. The glasses also come in a really cool, unconventional case that I really like. Overall, I'd say this is an excellent value for sunglasses of a quality equaling the best out there. Read more

These sunglasses are actually quite nice. I didn't expect them to feel significantly higher quality than other cheap sunglasses I've had in the past. As it should, given the high price tag. The sunglasses have some weight to them, feels like it's made from nice materials and feels well constructed. The arms open and close smoothly and securely. The lenses adequately dim the sunlight. They also look great and feel comfortable. Although they feel much nicer than your typical sunglasses, I'm not convinced that it's quite worth the price since it's not a groundbreaking design nor a recognizable brand name. But if you really like it, I don't think you'll be disappointed with the quality. Read more

These are very nice sunglasses! The frames are well made and sturdy with just the right amount of tasteful decorative trim. I love that they're polarized and that the lenses are extremely clear with no distortion. They feel very balanced and good on my face and stay in place without constant adjustment or pushing up on my nose. I was concerned that they might end up feeling heavy and fatiguing to wear on my ears and nose, but no. They're quite comfortable. I held these up in front of my monitor, turning them with very noticeable color changing on the lenses, indicating that they are indeed polarized. Instant favorite for my son. Got these in the hopes that he might like them, as I'm not always up to date on what's fashionable for 20 somethings... but he was extremely happy with them immediately and over the course of time he has mentioned numerous times to me how much use he gets out of them, how comfortable they are and how much he appreciates them. For the price, I would say this is a great value. They have held up well, even with rough use and being stored in a glove box (resist scratching, stay true to shape/size) and they look great on him. These arrive in a unique triangular storage case with big cleaning cloth included, and the glasses themselves look and feel like they cost a few hundred dollars more. They're solid without being heavy, with sturdy clasps and tight fitting lenses. The fit is good because they do have the feature so the clasps bend outward to accommodate a wider face, and I would say these are are a bit narrow generally speaking but again, they do adjust for fit and comfort. I like that the lenses don't bend around the face, they're flatter and provide a classier look. Looking through the lenses is a pleasure - they appear dark as you're looking at the wearer, but from the viewer's perspective everything appears bright without glare, and they are also polarized. And they look sharp - really classy, makes me feel like I should be strolling the boulevard on South Beach. Great product. Read more
