I would have preferred the black to be a bit darker. But at this price it's still a keeper. Looks a little like a printer running out of ink to me. This was able to accommodate a 16 inch laptop in its pocket. That would be the max. The build quality is ok but is a bit thin. The entire back is pink. Wearing it not overloaded is comfortable. One of the adjustment straps came a little frayed. Nothing a flame can't solve. The bonus pencil case although thin is a nice touch. Read more

This backpack is actually a bit bigger than I initially realized. I had purposely, as an adult, gone for a child's backpack because I thought it would make for a nice lightweight daypack for carrying just the essentials. This backpack is somewhat larger than I'd like for that purpose, close to the size of a regular adult backpack--while that's less than ideal for my purposes, though, it's a benefit if you're looking for a kids' bookbag or just a backpack for regular use! (It's still not super heavy, but it does seem relatively sturdy.) The colors are just as fun and vibrant as they look in the pictures. I haven't worn it enough to be able to speak to its comfort, but overall I'm content with this backpack, even if it's a bit larger than what I had actually been seeking out at the time. Read more

Cute pattern, decent size for older girls, plenty of pockets and compartments, water bottle pouches on both sides and a nice mesh back for breathability. Nice touch that it comes with a matching pencil case. The straps could be a little thicker and more cushioned for extra comfort, but for twenty dollars I reckon it decent. Simple and efficient. This backpack is great for school or travel. It’s lightweight but still fits a good amount of books and supplies. The black color is classic and works for both boys and girls. The zippers are smooth and the straps are padded enough to be comfy for daily use. It’s a nice everyday bag that doesn’t feel bulky but still gets the job done. Read more

This is a very durable, water resistant backback. In Minnesota, it needs to hold up in the weather, and I think this one will. My daughter liked it because of the pink and black - cool colors I guess. It's got multiple pockets - a big center one with a side pocket, and larger front zip pocket for homework and folders. On the front is has a top pocket, and lower pocket and there are pink mesh side pockets for waterbottles. The inner pockets are a gray nylon materials. It's a good size, and I could see this as being perfect for upper elementary and middle school students. I also like that it comes with a small, matching pencil pouch. An added bonus. Read more
