This KIDISLE Milk Frother and Steamer is great for making hot chocolate. I really wanted a velvetizer but didn’t want to spend that much money, and this has been a fantastic alternative. This frother works well. It has 4 settings. You can select the heat range and it heats the milk. Well it also froths to a thick or thin foam based on setting. I’ve tried it with whipped cream and half-and-half - both of these make a nice fluffy foam. I’ve tried it with coconut milk and almond milk almond milk makes a thinner foam and coconut milk does not foam, but it will heat. I haven’t tried making hot chocolate in it yet. It’s easy to clean. Stopped frothing after using 4-6 times as instructed. I am disappointed as it worked well with almond milk and great for Spanish hot chocolate. I had it less than 2 weeks. Update: The seller reached out to me of their own accord and resolved my issue with the unit. Great customer service, thank you! Read more
Worked great but broke after two months. I think it is a design flaw: a bad switch and the fact that you have to wash the whole pot. Replaced it with a more expensive frother where the pot is separate from the electronics Read more
