Sturdy, solidly made, and very comfortable. VERY simple to put together. The black plastic shipping cap over the pneumatic cylinder is clearly marked "REMOVE" and this step also called out in the instructions. I did find an "extra" part however. It is not shown in either the parts list or mentioned in the instructions. It is a decorative, star shaped dust cover that, I assume, fits between the base (C) and the pneumatic cylinder (D). It was loose in the box. Unfortunately I didn't see it until after I had inserted the pneumatic cylinder into the base. Once you do that and sit on the chair, the unit seals and it's impossible to separate the two to get the dust cap in. But no matter - it is clearly decorative and the chair looks fine without it. Other than that, I'm very happy with this chair! Read more

Really easy to assemble. Has a broken piece that needs replacing. Hopefully the seller sees this review and gets back to me. If they do I’ll update my 1 star to 5 star Update: Awesome customer service. They reached out the same day. They apologized and are sending a replacement now. Love the look of the chair. I’m happy ai bought it, and I’m looking forward to getting the second one Read more

This chair is overall pretty decent, just wish it had a bit more back/lumbar support. It’s not as helpful in that department as it states. Aside from that, this is an overall okay chair. Read more

This attractive Kidol & Shellder rolling chair was exceedingly easy to assemble. The entire time from unboxing to complete assembly took less than ten minutes. The metal base comes completely assembled other than having to insert the casters. The seat and back are also one unit so all you need to do is bolt the metal tilt bracket to the seat, sandwich the piston/cylinder between the base and chair and you're done. The chair rolls smoothly and swivels effortlessly. The spring tension when leaning back is adjustable but seemed fine as set from the factory. The lack of arm rests means you can slide it further under a desk or table to save floor space when not in use. The chair sits higher than most office chairs I've used. At its lowest setting the seat is about 19 inches above the ground which was fine for me (average height) and my 5' 5" wife but may be too high for those with short legs. At its highest point, the seat is about 23.5 inches high. The cushions are moderately dense and about two inches thick. The cushions are adequate, but certainly not plush. Sitting in the chair is comfortable for work, but with a low back and no arm rests, it's not a chair you will fall asleep in. On the other hand, for a work environment this may be just what the efficiency expert ordered. The same Kidol and Shellder chair seems to be available on Amazon from the same vendor with two different ASINs: B0DD6WXXF4 and B0CB5H7KSN. They have significantly different price points. I'm not sure they're identical, but they certainly look that way. So if you are interested, I would recommend checking the current prices before buying. Read more

I ordered this chair for my home office desk and I am so happy with it!! Assembly was a breeze and took like 5 minutes. Assembly consist of attaching the gas lift to the chair and the feet. It was so easy. Once assembled the chair is incredibly comfortable! It's easy to sit in for prolonged amounts of time! The leather is soft and feels very comfortable. The wheels move effortlessly on hard floor. They can get a little stuck on the carpet but, they still move reasonably. The gas lift works beautifully with no issues. The chair reclines back pretty far and is just overall very comfortable! I am so happy with this armless chair and would absolutely recommend it! The one thing I would mention to keep in mind is this chair can get uncomfortable if you spend all day at a desk and like to lean back. It's more comfortable than traditional office chairs (by far) but, not having a head rest can get uncomfortable if you lean back a lot. Other than that, I'm loving this chair!! Read more

This chair is very well built and comfortable to sit in. It is a one piece, so there is no gap where your rear end can push through. It support your back and your legs and hips very well. The cloth material is very soft and comfortable to sit on. There is some cushioning in the cloth covering. It’s adjustable up and down so it will fit many different height. It has no arms on it, which is nice because I can get it up underneath the desk. I can also sit several hours in it while I’m working and still be comfortable. It’s easy to clean just run a vacuum attachment over it or if you need to you can scrub it with a little bit of cleaner and blot it dry. The dye in the material does not bleed so you do not have to worry about wearing lighter clothing and sitting on it. it’s all the way around and it is very smooth. It’s easy to put together. It took me about 15 minutes. The wheels glide very nicely across the floor. There is no sticking or hard turning. It is very well priced for the quality of the chair. Read more

This is a very comfortable chair, once it was assembled. There were no instructions, and I did have a problem with assembly. The seat would not fit on the chair cylinder. I tried and tried, but to no avail. I almost gave up, but then I realized that the cylinder had a cap that needed to be removed. There was no sign, no instruction, and the cap did not come off easily. In fact, if you look at it, you would not think it was a cover at all but a vital part of the cylinder. It took about five minutes to take the cap off. As much as I like the chair, I cannot give it five stars due the frustrations of assembly. Instructions should have been included with details for the need to remove the cap from the cylinder. Also, the chair is made for taller people. A person with short legs would need to attach a back cushion. Read more
