This is a really pretty little backpack. It has some nice design features (like lots of interior pockets), but some of the exterior pockets have questional functionality. By that I just mean that I am not sure what you would use them for because they are so small. I would have liked fewer but slightly bigger front pockets to fit school snacks or even a small lunch box. I also feel like the water bottle holder is a little tight. That being said, the overall size is part of the appeal. It fits my 5 year old perfectly. Sometimes it is hard to find bags in between the toddler backpacks and the full size. This is perfect.
