This is a simple mp3 player and the price ($25.99 at the time of writing this review) reflects it. If you’re wanting an mp3 player with a smooth interface and lots of functions and stellar audio quality, look elsewhere. This 32GB mp3 player is a basic player that doesn’t connect to wifi. It is lightweight and comes with a strap so you can hang it around your neck. The mp3 player plays music through the speaker or can connect to headphones (Bluetooth or wired). The sound quality is not top of the line, but it’s pretty good for a tiny, inexpensive gadget. This is good for kids if you want to give them something that can play their own music or audiobooks without giving them something expensive you’re worried about them breaking and without giving them something that gives them too much access. The speaker died after a short time, and the Bluetooth will not connect on 9/10 attempts. For a "kid-friendly" product, this needs parental controls to enable or disable apps that are not desired. The instruction manual is insufficient. It doesn't say where to save the music in the player so it populates artist and album. I put everything in the folder marked "BT_Music" and that didn't work. I put everything in the main directory, and that didn't work either. The charger is an older mini-USB, and it isn't seated correctly in the port. I have to kind of "scoop" it up when I plug it in, or it won't make the correct connection. Read more

It makes me feel embarrassingly old, but my 10 and 13-year-olds both think that MP3 players are awesome little vintage products right now. I wasn't about to go searching for an actual iPod for them to use, so I thought this was a nice alternative for them to experience MP3 technology. The interface was easy to use and operate. I like that the features are simple and basic, as this means this device lacks the addictive properties of most other screens that kids have access to these days. My kids of course had to learn what it was like to download MP3s and not have the entire world's music library at their fingertips, like with streaming services, but this also meant that I could have more direct control over what they were able to listen to. The sound quality is about what you would expect at this price point. It's not a garbled underwater garbage heap, but it's also of course not as clear as what you're going to get on a high-end speaker or expensive cell phone. The value here is more in the novelty of it all. Overall, this is a great little device if you are trying to limit your child's access to screens, and give them an inexpensive piece of technology that you won't have to worry about being stolen. If you are looking for something with higher end features or the ability to play more sophisticated games and apps, this is not the Droid you're looking for. Read more

Got this for a young kid that thinks he's an adult. I like that the MP3 player cannot connect to the internet, it is local only. It accepts an SD Card (it comes with one in the box), which I loaded with some songs and a couple of audiobooks . I do like that this is a complete package. You get the MP3 player (with an installed screen protector) an extra screen protector, an SD Card, soft case, lanyard, earbuds with adjustable tips and a charging cable. This is excellent, put a couple of songs in the SD Card and you are good to go. The device is very light. It is an inexpensive device and feels as such (which is not a bad thing considering the target audience). It has a radio function (plug in the headphones and you are good to go). My only gripe is that the USB charger is micro USB. In late 2025, this is just unacceptable for a new product. This should have been Type C. This means you will have to keep close the included cable unless you have some older Micro cables (or an adapter) around. Great for the target audience. Would prefer a Type C charge port for the next iteration. Read more
