My daughter went through a backpack every year, then I found this backpack. Very sturdy built, fine craftsmanship, lots of pockets including: secret pocket, folder pocket, net-pockets, loops for keys/decor, etc. My daughter has been using this same backpack for the last 3 years of school and summer camp and it's still going strong. It's very hard to believe given our experience with retail-outlet backpacks. I couldn't convince her to upgrade it, as most kids do for trendy/aesthetic reasons, so it's clear the pattern stood the test of evolving children's tastes. Most kids backpacks seem to be built out of cheap/disposable materials, but this is definitely in a league of it's own (as kids backpacks go). If you stumbled upon this in your search for something decent that might actually hold together and last a while, you found it. Worth every penny. Read more
I wish there was a color option for boys as well. We all love the design/pockets, quality of the fabric and the super smooth zippers!!!! I got some other backpack for my son, but if this one was available for boys - I’d not double guess!!!! LOVE this booksack!! The design & quality are excellent, and the colors and pattern are very nice too. I would say especially for the price it’s a great book bag, b/c that’s definitely true.. However, it would be worth the price had it been more expensive. I purchased it before school started for my kindergartener this year, so it’s had several months of use now. It’s held up perfectly. And it’s not too big for her, but would also work if she were in another elementary school grade too. I plan to look for this booksack in another design for her for next year! I bought this backpack for my daughter almost a year ago, and I’m seriously impressed—it still looks brand new! She uses it every day for school, and it’s held up beautifully. I don't like to write reviews right away - but I had to come back and leave one for this backpack. It has been very sturdy and an absolute champ this year! Here we are, coming up on the end of kindergarten and it's barely showing signs of wear and tear - which is impressive given it's pretty heavy load - lunchbox, water bottle, heavy Chromebook with charger etc. I can easily see it making it through next year too.
