Sturdy as heck!
This drum has held up to my son’s heavy duty drumming since we got it for him many months ago. He bangs it with wood sticks, plastic drum sticks, his bare hands, toy cars, mega blocks, etc. The drum sound is great, especially if he sits it on the ground to hit! The sticks included were sort of a fail. The foam balls on the tips were just way too loose, so we chucked them rather than risk a choking incident for him or our toy-chewing dog. The maracas are just that: maracas. He gets into them, too. Oh, and he also bangs the drum with the maracas. It really is durable! Read more
Great drum but remove small red caps at end of drum sticks for safety sticks are sealed on ends
Grand baby turns 1 next month gave him this present early and he loves it. Beats on it with and without the sticks. Warning if giving to a small child like I did remove the red caps at the end of the drum sticks they can be sucked off by a child and a choking hazard. The drumsticks have long stick handles good idea to keep a watch when baby is using them or put up if needed. Drum is great! End of drumsticks are sealed caps are just for looks. Remove to prevent choking hazard. Read more
