Kids are kids so no matter what you want a durable pair of sunglasses, and these are excellent. My boys have dropped these multiple times and also bent the frames, but no damage done. Super comfortable, and comes with a case, as well as a lanyard so you can take off and hang from neck. Very good sun protection. The size fits both my 9 and 6 year old-- sometimes my 2 year old pops the glasses on and actually fits him as well.
