Got this item for my 14 month old because he watches me workout and always wants to join, item came with the button on the end off and a random screw in the box, popped the button back amd and thought nothing of the screw. The weights are actually a rattle which is annoying but makes sense since they're for babies. I d3cided to pop the button off the ends to see if I could get rid of yhe rattling noise (the buttons vert easily come off) the item inside used to make the rattle noise is literally screws!! Wth! I had gotten these thinking they were more like lightweight dumbbells that kids could use for exercise. These are just toys and I think the description should clarify that more. This is better suited for kids who want to pretend play that they are working out. They are hollow. I thought it might be hollow for filling with water or sand to adjust heaviness, but anything put in it leaks out, so that's not the case. Not what I was looking for to help my kids get starting lifting weights, but would be good for a toddler who wants to play pretend or "workout" with their parents. Read more
