Don't know if this works, not trying it as it smells and worse the rubber has scratches all over it and where the hooks are attched top and bottom have all this loose thread. Don't think it was finished. Didn't expect it to look so bad considering the $$$ I spent on this. Very disappointed but what do you expect it's made in Chine. Not ever buying from there again. UPDATE = I went ahead and tried it on and sure enough didn't fit at all. It really looks like it was made out of a used tire (scratches, scuffs and smell) it was bad after handling it the stink was on my hands. I wish they would inspect these. I was hoping to finally have one that fit, no way the sizes are way off. Save your money and invest in a real quality one. I just know it isn't this one. UPDATE: ORDERED SECOND ONE IN A DIFFERENT SIZE, THE BONING DUG UP UNDER MY GIRLS AND THE BOTTOM WENT RIGHT ABOVE MY PRIVATE AND THE BONING DUG INTO THE TOP OF MY LEGS. Holy cow! You'll get your Jane Fonda work out trying to fasten all those hooks! I struggled mightily to get the hooks fastened at the "widest" setting (least constrictive). I'm used to working with busk fasteners, which are easier to me, but I have limited strength and mobility in my hands so that could make it more difficult for me than it might be for you. However, once I got all the hooks done up, it was a relatively simple matter to move all of them in to the tightest setting once the garment was holding itself together and I wasn't trying to pull so hard with my hands. Provides substantial support, the fabric has a nice density and weight to it. Boning is nice. The piece is nicely constructed. I am considering getting a beige one as well, once they are back in stock. My only concern is breathability in the hot and humid Florida climate - i could definitely see this thing bringing on a case of "the vapors" lol -- only it would really be heat stroke. Read more
Great for helping with posture and fitting into my clothes better, but I can't imagine exercising in it. I have found it better with time, but sitting in the car is definitely not all that comfy. Read more
I received mine in the mail and tried it on, the top puckered out a little bit. In my opinion it fit to loosely despite my waist size being 35 inches. I'm ordering the next size smaller because I got it on comfortably at the third wrung right off the bat. Still very pleased with the product, great quality, very sturdy. Would recommend! Read more

I got a medium hoping it would fit ok. I am 135-140 lbs. It was sine work getting it zipped but glad I went with this size. If I would have found this shaper before the others I've bought, I would have never had to buy another. Except, hopefully a smaller one in the future! Read more
Went by the chart and it was still too small, so I'm exchanging it for a size up; other than that it seemed fine: very sturdy material, no weird smell, length from top to bottom was fine, looked very well made for the price.. I'll update my review once I get my replacement. Update: it's great, I love it. I'm on the outermost row of hooks, but even that has noticeably slimmed my waist and helped my posture a lot.
