I bought a carton of these tri-fold paper towels, when locating rolls at the supermarket was impossible. I gave some to my elderly neighbor as well. I don't have a dispenser, and neither did he - but these can be placed in one stack on a counter or vanity, and they work just as well - you can remove one towel at a time. They certainly are durable, and do the job - I don't think they are quite as absorbent as paper towels in a roll, but these work perfectly, and have been a great help during all of the spot shortages of paper products. Make sure to read the SIZE of the each paper towel.

We didn't realize this is much bigger than expected... and due to folded in half then C-folded (so each one is thicker), when you pull one, the next one will not come out easily. In a way, the larger (or I should say longer or wider) size is good as you can tear in half if you don't want to use the whole sheet. Absorbency: they are better than what we ordered before, but not as good as a regular rolled paper towel... But it's okay. Softness: They are not really soft, but not coarse either... They are good for substituting paper towel for wiping hands - but not as good as rolled paper towel, but cost-effective. Read more
