Garment bag held 3 dresses and 2 suits this past weekend. It is not a heavy garment bag but sufficient for light travel. Bag folds in half with carry fabric “handles”. It also has pockets but did not use this time… Well worth the cost! Read more
I brought this product to put my granddaughter military ball gown in it. Very nice quality and sturdy. I luv the pockets. So her dress shoes fits in the compartment. Read more
Meh- its okay- for the money you cannot really expect more. It DOES fit a lot in, we managed 3 dresses and a full tux including the shoes which we took on a 4 hour flight and took as hand luggage (asked the airline staff to hang it for us) it kept everything clean and didn't rip and I have used it again since for other weddings we have attended that were road trips. Of course for a woman, more likely than not, you're going to need a suitcase with all your other "stuff" in it... shoes, accessories etc. if you are more minimal this might work ok for one person. All in all, if you aren't looking for "luggage" and just need to keep things neat and orderly this is ok. I think my "meh" comes from the fact I would have preferred an actual piece of luggage to check-in but didn't want to pay the premium. Read more
I like this bag, but it is important to note a few things. 1. It is the same material as a medium grade reusable shopping bag with a coating inside. I don’t recommend using it as a checked bag at the airport, but it’s great for the trunk if you’re going on a road trip. 2. It uses the hangers of your clothes to hang itself. Be sure to use good quality hangers when you’re traveling. 3. The front pockets are nice. I put a pair of women’s US 9.5M block sandals and a pair of flat sandles in the same pocket and had no trouble zipping it up. However, if you wear more than a size 10, you might have trouble zipping the pocket. 4. The length is perfect for midi dresses, but a little short for maxi dresses. 5. This bag is one of the only ones I have found with a tri-fold design. While other bags have the handles on both ends and cause the ends of the dresses to fall back towards the creerse when carried, this bag will keep them in place when folded. I love that feature. The included pictures shows (1) 4 ironed dresses with sweaters before packing, (2) the width of the bag with dresses packed, (3) how the packed bag looks while folded, and (4 & 5) the unpacked dresses in the hotel after a 5 hour road trip. Slightly wrinkled, but good enough to not have to iron again. Read more
I was kind of worried about whether or not this would fit in an overhead bin on Alaska (some of their Embraer airplanes have small bins), but it worked very well carrying my wedding suit and multiple dress shirts and slacks. Nice item. Feels lightweight but not flimsy. Read more
Worked great for my formal evening gown. Great price. Read more
Not what I expected, but then again I didn’t research what I needed long enough before I purchased a travel bag for my dresses. I think this bag is for folding and putting into your suitcase. Not stand alone to take on the airplane etc. Doesn’t have a button and can easily unfold. Not waterproof. Cheap material. Does the trick for quick and easy transport but definitely not an investment for a long term solution. Read more
I LOVE these garment bags for costumes. I have purchased them several times as they work great to hold long dresses and costumes with lots of pieces. Plus the added pockets are great for putting accessories to keep everything together. These absolutly help my costume closet storage! Read more
