I tried 2 other brands, but they irritated my skin - Stark tape does not! It stabilizes my foot and provides some relief. It's thin and very flexible and, as others have noted, it stays in place (even in the shower). The only minor issue I have with it is that it is very thin (hence the flexibility) and sometimes it will stick to itself when putting it on and, like plastic wrap, sticks to itself.
