This is by far the best shaving gel if you have sensitive skin. I finally found the best cooling shave gel for shaving. If you have sensitive skin I highly recommend this shave gel. Oh boy, where do I even begin with this shave gel? The gel itself is so smooth that it practically glides across my skin like a greased-up penguin on an ice rink. It's like I'm shaving with a tiny, well-oiled acrobat! Every stroke feels like a juggling act, hoping my razor doesn't do a backflip and land on my nose. Discovered King of Shaves many years ago. In combination with the Schick Quattro blade, the shave is smooth, close and “nick” free. I attribute that to the slickness of the gel and the tiny thin wires that cross the Quattro blades perpendicularly. Actually, Wilkinson was the first blade I discovered decades ago with the perpendicular wires. They left the market and Schick used the design. I hope the design never disappears. Read more

I don’t normally rave about products but I’ve been shaving for close to 50 years and have tried a wide variety of shave creams/gels/foam etc but have been 100% hooked on KOS since first trying it close to ten years ago. My skin is pretty sensitive but cuts and burns are a thing of the past. The smell and the cooling effect are wonderful. The only downside is shipping from the UK. It takes a while, which means I usually order a new two pack after finishing the first tube of what I currently have. Read more

I bought this expecting it to make my beard softer when shaving.....Maybe I am expecting too much...I use an electric shaver most of the week (3-5 days in a row).... but at some point you need a close blade shave....The scent is good, and it lubricates well..... Maybe I will adjust...I am going to give it some more tries. Read more

I don’t write reviews normally. But this has been the best shave gel I have ever used. I have a medicine cabinet full of gels and creams trying to find the right one that isn’t too oily, that doesn’t dry out too fast, where the razor feels like it is cutting the hair on the first pass without feeling like I’m going to cut some skin off in the process. This product seems to meet all of the qualifications. Even as the razor dulls, I still seem to get a smooth close shave.
