I spent awhile trying to find a perfect headboard with storage. I’m happy I chose this one! I was nervous about wood slats because I had metal before. It does not squeak and is sturdy. Turned on some movies while I put it together by myself and it took two movies, so about 3-4 hours. The mattress does not slide. Instructions are easy to follow. Perfect size. The storage is very easy to hook onto the bed, it’s one bolt you latch onto the bed. I like to watch tv on my side so one storage will not be used and the other three hold my sheets and throw blankets perfectly! More than enough storage. Read more

I absolutely love this bed. I love that it has the outlet plugs up top for me to plug in my devices at night. My sister assembled it for me and it was pretty easy for her to do. She made me put my own storage drawers together which was pretty easy since I followed the pictures. The only thing is the letters to the screws did not match what was in the manual, but again, as long as I followed the description I was fine. The bed does not squeak and it was easy for me to move and maneuver it to a different spot in my room. AS A PLUS SIZE QUEEN, I must say I don’t have any hesitations when getting in bed. Definitely sturdy and durable. Another drawback is the drawers, the ones on the side overlap just a little. I don’t have ocd but I would have loved for them to glide right into place instead of overlapping the way it does. It’s a SMALL detail but it does not take away from the overall appeal of the bed. I will probably use it for jeans or purses as the space looks big enough to store plenty. Last, it is a platform style bed so a box spring is not required but I still use mine just for added height (even though it’s a platform bed and I wanted a platform bed lol). Read more
