Helped someone move furniture and I commented on how much I liked their bed frame. They said "Amazon for the win!". So, I started looking and came across this one. Seemed to fit all my needs so I bought it. I am really happy with it. Assembly did take a while. It wasn't hard, just a lot of parts so give yourself 2 hours for that. Also using a drill with an hex bit rather than the included allen wrench will speed things up. Once done, I found the frame was very sturdy. No loose parts, no noise when climbing in to bed or rolling over. The headboard is the star of the show with all of the extra storage and power for devices. I tweaked my back one day and needed a heating pad. Oh look at that, I have a place to plug in and lie down while the heat goes to work. Shelves for remotes and phones, the hidden drawers for whatever you want to hide. The side cubby is nice when your spouse has an unhealthy obsession with Jar Jar Binks and you need a place to display those. It eliminates the need for a box spring so no need to buy that. It has 12 inches of clearance from the ground which is great for storing boxes of stuff. I have banker boxes and comic book boxes under there, they slide right under with room to spare. This turned out to be an amazing purchase. This bedframe has so many cubbys and so much storage. That one hidden cubby behind the bed fits my whole laptop at an angle, and it does the same with my husbands. I love the double shelf and the fact that it has a back board to it so nothing falls back too. Its pretty sturdy, and the only time it makes noise is when it's fully pressed up against the wall due to the tension so I keep it like an inch or two off of it. Overall super worth it for the price. When I first got it, I was like this may or may not be alot of work or just the right amount. Turned out to be the latter and I’m impressed. Sturdy, doesn’t take all day or night to put together, good instructions. A drill made it easier because there are a ton of screws. I like the led placement and the two drawers in front. First of all $70 for delivery was absolutely ridiculous. They just backed the truck into the driveway and shoved it off the truck into the gravel. Thankfully the inside had a little styrofoam padding. There were a lot of pieces of gravel embedded into the box. Definitely have someone help you set it up. Pieces are awkward to find and put together with the tiny Allen wrenches. Double and triple check the direction prices are facing. Not all pieces are numbered the way they should be. After assembly, it looks very nice and fits a king snuggly. It seems quite sturdy. It seems to be for shorter mattresses, height-wise. I have a "14" that's really a 12" and it comes up a bit on the headboard. Add a matress topper and you're near even with the drawers. I love all the shelves. There's even a hiddenshelf off the side which is nice for a water bottle. The light strip that it came with was way too short. I'll have to get a different one to use it. I didn't put in the "drawers" it seems to look nicer without them. They're just fold out boxes like for cube organizers. I'd say it was worth it's price IF there wasn't a ridiculous delivery fee.
