Finally put it on the bed a few months ago. Washed it today according to the instructions (cold water, tumble dry low) and it shrunk width-wise unfortunately. I think it may be able to stretch it back close to the original size. If not, I have a plastic protector on the bed under it. Otherwise, the edges (2") of the bed would not be protected.
