May shrink width-wise.
Finally put it on the bed a few months ago. Washed it today according to the instructions (cold water, tumble dry low) and it shrunk width-wise unfortunately. I think it may be able to stretch it back close to the original size. If not, I have a plastic protector on the bed under it. Otherwise, the edges (2") of the bed would not be protected. Like the pad otherwise. It's lightweight and at least still fits lengthwise. Just be aware that it could shrink widthwise. May be safer to line dry. Read more

Have 3 of these - work well
I've now bought this mattress protector for an RV queen bed and also for 2 twin XL adjustable mattresses. It stays on all of them surprisingly well. I like that the fabric side (the side touching the sheet you put over it) is soft, not silky. We have Nectar mattresses which have a very sleek/slippery material. Using this mattress protector and then a cotton blend sheet means we don't feel like we're sliding around on the bed. Read more
