I bought this for a 2013 Honda CRV. I bought it just before I drove on a six-hour trip. I was very pleased with the fit of this cushion in my driver's seat. It was easy to install. It was very comfortable and really helped to provide support and cushion for my back and tailbone. It is not hard, and it does not change how you sit in the seat regarding height or forward placement. I did not notice a bad smell when I opened the package and did not feel the need to air it out before use. I did let it breathe and open up/expand for 24 hours before I put it in my car. I've been doing a lot of driving lately so I needed something to help cushion my tailbone, back and butt. I'm glad I read the reviews first so I knew to let the seat pads air out for a few hours (actually a whole day) so that it would be at it's best when I put it in the car. It was easy to put over the seat. I've driven a few long trips since then and it has proven to be quite comfortable, thick and alleviates pressure points while I drive. Fit over my seat well. I bought this cushion for my 2017 Subaru Forester, which it fits well. After reading reviews, I aired it out for 24 hours before installing and have not noticed any smell in the car. As other reviewers have noted, the bottom seat cushion does slip a bit. When first getting in the car, I hold the left edge of the cushion firmly in place while getting seated, and usually don't need another adjustment. The cushion thickness is fine for me, but because I'm short I had to adjust the driver's seat distance from the wheel and tilt backward after installation to compensate for the cushion thickness. I will find out this winter whether it interferes with the heated driver's seat (I haven't seen any comments on this, but it may be a consideration for some owners). These cushions havejust enough padding to cure my wife’s complaints about the seat hurting her back and being uncomfortable. We bought these after trying a couple of thicker pads that elevated to high ( head, practically hitting roof)and slipped and slide when she entered and exited the car. These are held in place by adjustable elastic straps that are easy to install and secure the cushions. additionally, they matched the interiorcolor of my CRV. Read more

I gave them 3 stars because they are well made and comfortable. They will not, however, properly fit in a 2025 Subaru Legacy. There is insufficient room for the circular disks to be rotated from horizontal to vertical behind the front seats. Pretty expensive, so I'm going to try to make them (bought 2 sets) work in the other car, a 22 Taos. I'll update review if I find a solution. Any suggestions appreciated. Read more

I just have to say that I was very skeptical about this pad. I had just driven a 2.5hr trip and had to stop and have my wife drive. I was obligated to go to our daughter’s house in Vegas 4.5hrs. I was cringing about going. I even looked into flying. I bought this on Amazon and installed right before getting on the road. 5min install. Driving to Vegas and back I felt no pain. Nothing. These seat protectors are very high quality and stay snugly in place, unlike cheaper ones I have had that slide around. The come scrunched up and wrinkly (you can still see wrinkles in some areas of the photos), but the overall look is pretty classy, in my opinion. They look as good as the seats they protect. They are not very thick, so the memory foam does not add a lot of cushion to the relatively hard Honda seats, but they provide a bit more side bolster, so you feel like you are in a sports car. They also serve to raise the passenger a bit, since on the 2024 Accord EX, there is no vertical adjustment on the passenger side seat. They are thick enough to block the seat heaters, however, which is fine with me. I never have liked heated seats or steering wheels. I have always liked the off-white interiors which brighten up the driving experience, but light colored seats stain easily (although the cloth seat on the Honda are very easy to clean, in my experience), so I like using seat protectors/cushions to keep them looking new. If they add a bit of comfort on a long road trip, as these do, so much the better. If I can get light upholstery on my next car, I will continue to use these, since they seem rugged enough to last for a decade. Read more

These made the leather seats in our 21 Mazda CX5 much more comfortable. The back cushion is pretty perfect. The bottom cushion not so much. Why there aren't straps on the front of the cushion to hold it in place makes it kind of a PITA when you get in the car. The cushion slides, and you have to sit up and adjust the cushion.
