Kipling Womens New Angie Crossbody Handbag Lightweight Crossbody Bag Nylon Travel Bag

This ultra light weight crossbody has replaced my belt bags I used to use a lot. My first Angie has to be at least 10 years old and shows no signs of wear but it's a "fun color" that doesn't go with everything. This Angie in a deep true black is my second and I have no doubt it will be with me for years. They stand up to washing extremely well: just zip up all the pockets and I recommend placing it in a lingerie bag before tossing into a cold water wash with similar colors. Air dry and you're good to go. The body holds my glasses case, my phone and an 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" wallet with room to spare; has 2 unzippered pockets plus 1 zippered pocket that is fairly well filled; and has a slot for a pen. The large zippered front pocket holds envelopes, lists and small pads of paper. The two small zippered pockets in front of the large one are great for those loyalty cards that the vendor hasn't gotten around to putting online. For its relatively small size, it holds quite a bit. Plus, the little gorilla that hangs from every Angie (and is removable) is super cute. I love Kipling bags for their light weight and many pockets. They last forever and fit much more than you would expect. My only gripe is that the size of the shoulder strap is narrower than it was on the original Angie. My pic shows my old one on the left compared to the new one on the right. I'm not sure it will be as comfortable . Should also note that the key clip feature has been removed, but I never used that so it doesn't bother me. Read more

The purse fits more than one would expect. It can fit a large wallet, smartphone, pouch, small camera, etc. It cannot fit a water bottle. The front and back large pockets are easy to access. The lining is light-colored so it's easy to find things in the main compartment. The strap is comfortable. All of the zippers open and close smoothly, and won't hurt when you brush your hand against them. Unfortunately the 2 zippered front pockets are too small and not really functional. It feels like wasted space. Also, the metallic rose color is actually a deeper color than shown online. The silver color is pretty much true to color, but there is not as much of a yellow-ish shade as shown in the pictures. Just the right size for travel. It holds an amazing amount of items and has many pockets for easy access. Works well as either a shoulder bag or cross body. Small enough to stuff in the top of a backpack or travel bag. Can be washed off and is super light weight. I have Kiplings in several styles , colors and sizes.
