The “verry berry” is truly a bright, darker pink tone and true to the pictured product. The color choices available are fun and can add a nice pop of color to your everyday look. This is a perfect sized purse for basic essentials... good organizational pockets. Will not fit a paperback book or water bottle. The front slip pocket is perfect for a regular sized smartphone for quick access and yet snug enough to not fall out. The front zipper pocket easily fits a full-size checkbook or wallet. There is a slip pocket on the backside that is the full width of the purse that can fit a kindle paperwhite. The main center zipper compartment has a divider and can fit a lot. The purse looks great on the shoulder with the strap adjusted short ... and also looks great with the strap lengthened to wear as a cross body. I have this style in 3 colors. Best Kipling crossbody design in my opinion - beautiful, lightweight, functional, and durable. It holds a lot despite its seemingly small size and even fits an iPad mini. There are 2 front pockets (1 open, 1 zipped) which I use for receipts and my iPhone, and there is an open back pocket which runs the entire length of the bag. In the main compartment, there is a big slip pocket and one zipped pocket, plus a key clasp. The lining is not flimsy and it is a light color (beige/light gray) so it is easy to spot items inside the bag. You can toss it in the washer (but remove the monkey charm first) in case it gets dirty, and just hang it to dry. Absolutely wonderful bag! Read more

I like spacious but not bulky purses and this one is just right, I got the burgundy and the color is beautiful. The strap is comfortable it is not heavy at all, the shape of the purse sits nicely on the side of my body and the zippers open and close super smoothly. I decided to look for a smaller everyday purse as I was tired of digging through my bag to find things lost at the bottom all the time. I wanted something with several compartments, but not so many I'd forget where things were. This one works well for me, but I think it's because I carry a very slim wallet. I put that in the outside front zipper compartment. The larger main compartment holds my readers and my sunglasses, both in cases, plus a small calendar. Inside the zippered section of the main compartment, I put all my little loose things like lip balm, aspirin, mints, etc. There is a narrow slip pocket on the front of the purse where the iPhone 6 in a case fits perfectly. Finally, the open pocket in the back holds a small pack of tissue and a couple pens. I'm sure I could stuff a lot more in if I wanted to, but just carrying the essentials makes this a good fit for me. It is sturdy and well made and the black goes with everything. Read more

This is the perfect purse for me because I cannot use heavier purses, just wish it came in more colors. I bought the turquoise/aqua first and loved it! So bought this in the more subtle color. Purse has the perfect amount of room for my money, credit cards, phone, travel packet of tissue, travel size hand wipes, keys, travel brush, club cards, and many other incidentals. I love the many open pockets for sliding things into, the inner zip pocket for money and credit cards, and the outer zip pockets for phone, etc. I was afraid it would stick out awkwardly when filled but it did not!
