I have been purchasing Kirkland brand products for years and recently went to purchase 500 more of my favorite 10 gallon trash bags from Costco. My last box lasted over 4 years since we produce minimal trash. To my dismay and near panic I could not find my favorite style on the Costco site-they must have been out of them- and I turned to Amazon for help. Amazon did not disappoint and I am relieved and delighted to get my favorite brand and quality 10 gallon trash bags. I have a shallow kitchen trash receptacle and these 10 gallon bags are perfect for that and for my trash in my bath. My spouse and I produce a very small amount of trash. We own our own Aerobin we saved for and so we compost our kitchen scraps. We also make our own soy milk, ice tea, lemonade, frappucinos, seltzer, bread, even laundry soap so I take the little Kirkland 10 gallon bags when full and place them in a large black Costco drawstring bag until that is full, which sometimes takes over two months to fill since our non-compostable daily trash is so minimal. When our trash bags arrived I noted the packing peanuts were either made out of coconut starch or sprayed with a lovely coconut scent. This is very appreciated and a great idea. My ex and I used to have a Costco membership, and I bought a box of 200 of these. It took us (and then just me) years to get through them, and they got the job done. No tearing, didn’t leave the can stinky when the bag was removed, and just enough stretch to withstand pushing the kitchen trash down to indulge our lazy sides as we put off taking out the trash for another day. When my current boyfriend and I moved into our house, we had a Costco membership, and I bought another 200 of these. We had our “200 Trash Bag” anniversary the other day, and I tasked him with purchasing more 13 gallon trash bags. They were not these, and they were/are terrible, and are now relegated to the biweekly Tiny Trash Roundup from the itty bitty cans throughout the house—too short, too thin, prone to tearing—we didn’t know we had it so good with Kirkland and learned that not all trash bags are of equal quality, I immediately bought another 200 of these online, and I’m grateful we can get them here since we relinquished the Costco membership.
