If you are short, these will fit like normal pants, not ankle length (which is actually what I wanted anyway). I'm barely 5'3" and petite and these in size 4 hit right at the top of my foot. These pants are quite good for traveling and hiking in warm climates. They fit comfortably and the black and grey colors match pretty much everything. I like the small zipper pocket on the leg for carrying very small items (key, cash). These pants would be improved by adding a larger zippered pocket to hold a phone. The stitching is a bit frayed at the pockets, and I suspect they are fairly cheaply made. In spite of that, they are a nice change from jeans. Read more

I was so happy to find these pants on Amazon because our Costco has been out of gray ones for some time. In my line of work I need to be outdoors in the summer, but cannot wear shorts. Friends of mine used these on a hike, and seeing they worked so well for them I went on a search. I read other reviews saying they ran large, so I ordered a 6 which is a size smaller than my usual 8.
