Great natural soap! I've found that this soap rinses clean, leaving less soap scum in my shower than other soap bars. I find the price to be very reasonable because the soap lasts a long time and is more dense than other brands. I've tried a few scents but keep coming back to this one. It does not bother my allergies at all while smelling clean. It is very gentle on my skin and leaves my face very clean feeling without drying out. Read more

I really like this soap. I've used it for years, primarily because I don't care for soaps with a strong scent. This soap lathers well, cleans well, and doesn't have a strong odor, so it's perfect for me. I feel like it leaves my skin feeling clean and rinses off well. It doesn't leave a film on my skin after being rinsed so I think it's great. I tend to have somewhat oily skin, so I can't speak to it being drying for someone who has drier skin, but it does seem to clean oily skin pretty well. It also doesn't have a ton of ingredients. Love the scent and use it to hand wash delicate blouses along with another outstanding brand of a white soap bar. Kirk's is a 4 oz. bar. The other brand is a 3.17 oz bar. Kirk's shrank down to a small size, while the other soap bar did not. I want to know what is in the Kirks that makes it get so small. Something is not right. But I still love the Kirks soap bar. I just discovered this soap by accident and hooked now! The bar soap last a long time and I love the lather. I have sensitive skin so can’t use soap like Irish Spring and this is perfect but it smells great. Honestly, I’m not sure if this is the one that I see on EWG that has a rating of 1 – i.e., no added chemicals or junk – but it seems to be working well for me. My son, however, found it painfully drying on his hands so I’m not purchasing it again. The point was to help Him with contact dermatitis and sensitive skin. Amazon also sends whatever it wants, it seems. My bars say, “Fresh scent” rather than “Original” or fragrance free. Read more
