I bought this on special during an Amazon day to use as a top, and a vest, and it works for both! You need either a very neutral bra or skin color cami underneath of it when worn alone. Otherwise, it makes a really cute vest over a shirt. Very easy to style and the quality is very good. I was looking for something 100% cotton that could go year-round in the warm climate where I live. In the winter I could use it with a turtleneck or long sleeve shirt. I love the rust color and it was exactly as pictured online. I would buy it in another color if I decide I need one. I have already washed it on gentle cycle and hung it up to dry on a padded hanger. Nice weight and smooth fit. Nice color, seems well made. I almost returned it because it was packed in a compression bag which left a hard a crease in the soft fibers right across the bustline. After 24 hours on a hanger, no change. So I sprayed the crease with water and left it another day. It took two water treatments but the crease finally gave up.
