Wasn't sure how sturdy it would be or if the fabric would sit well as skater skirts can be tricky but I got this skirt with red in L and the one with white in XL and was very happy with them both. Size guidance was very accurate, both skirts are a nice, heavy-ish sturdy fabric (good for keeping on a windy day. The waist has a zipper but it's also elastic with some room for extra stretching so they are very comfortable. I'm picky about what kind of skirts I like, This thing is awesome. it feels reasonably well made. the waist is elastic and there's also a zipper which like, maybe choose one? but that would be my only complaint. One thing I will say though is I struggled finding the right size. I went by the waist sizing included in the product info, but the skirt I got was way too big around the waist, so I went two sizes down, which fit, but was a bit tight. I wore this skirt to wear to a stray kids concert at lollapalooza in chicago. The skirt fit me perfectly! I weigh 235 pounds,5'5. The skirt is shorter in the back ,so I wore shorts underneith the skirt. Great fit,light ,so pretty! I got so many compliments wearing this skirt. I wore this skirt with my black boots! Love the front zippers too! I bought this skirt again in black and white! I bought the plus size xxl! Quality is great the waistband has some stretch so it fits fantastic and if I get bloated or anything its not going to be uncomfortable. I am 5ft3inches and my weight fluctuates allot but I'm around 230lbs. I normally wear a 2x so that's what I got and it is true to size. I have a 39inch waist and 52inch hips. It fits beautifully, is well made, is super cute, durable (though not great with cat claws! Save your skirts!) and It’s very comfortable! My only issue was one of the zippers was stuck permanently open for a long time. Couldn’t close it no matter what we tried.
