I am mightily impressed by this air fryer, mostly because it is so quiet. I had to put my head down next to it in order to confirm that it was running. I have tested many air fryers and it is by far the best one ever, beating out even name brand models, by a lot. Black and Decker - you go to the basement now. I like silent appliances! I tested this using Kirkland Signature frozen frys, which I normally deep fry. They are par-cooked, so it's not like using raw potatoes, which probably would not work well in any air fryer. You can see the before, during, and after photos below. I followed the instructions on the package, going with the short end of the time frame given. This machine cooked faster than most air fryers, producing perfectly crisp perfect frys. The glass makes it really easy to check on the status without opening the machine. I will never again buy an air fryer without clear glass to see what's happening. I let my frys finish, and they were just about to be over-cooked, so maybe cook less than the package says. So, the heat-level is good, and you can adjust the temp easily, even while cooking. This is very easy to clean. The base comes off with a couple switches on the bottom. Then you are left with a heavy glass bowl and metal rack, which could go in the dishwasher, although it was easy enough to clean them by hand. It comes with two size bowls, and it will cook even faster if you use the small bowl. This is a multi-tasker, saying it can bake and broil as well. I didn't test those, and probably never will, since I have ovens to use for that, but if you are in a small place, or an RV, or some place with no kitchen, this is a very versatile tool. I own a Phillips and Ninja air fryer already and didn't know a glass air fryer was a thing. I really liked the idea of having a non toxic glass air fryer. I enjoy roasting a whole chicken in Ninja and wanted to see how this measure up. The air fryer arrived well packaged without any damage to the glass. It is a bit heavier than my other air fryer but nothing that I can't handle. It is sturdy with thick glass and actually didn't take much space. It's super easy to use and wash. I love having the option of being able to throw it in the dishwasher if I'm feeling lazy. You can also throw it in the microwave to heat up the left over without having to move it to another microwavable dish. Less option than my Ninja but it still has 4 cooking modes. Most importantly, my chicken came out crispy outside and juicy inside. It seemed like the skin came out a bit crispier with Kismile. I think I'll be able use less oil with this than with my Ninja. I also really like that I can see how it's being cooked without opening it. This air fryer exceeded my expectations, and I really like how clean, durable and versatile it is. However, it is in a pricier side and highly recommend that you purchase it when there's coupon/promo. Overall, I highly recommend. Read more
