I do love this suit when I put it on but I have a few small issues and that’s why I only gave it 4 stars. (1) The first issue is that this is a high waisted bathing suit bottom and for smaller people (4’11”) the suit comes up your lower back kinda high at your waist and literally up to my rib cage in front. Unless you have a long waist, there is very little distance from where the top ends and the bottom begins and that makes your body look a little unflattering from behind when normally you may not but if you are short waisted, this is not the best look as skin hangs over the small space in between. (2) If you have a rear end of any kind, the dress back of the bottoms doesn’t cover your rear end. I prefer to have mine covered that’s why I order a suit like this. (3) The undershorts of the bottoms seem a little odd. They are not long nor too short so they kinda are just there and felt a little odd being there as they weren’t underwear like nor were they shorts like but somewhere in-between. I will try to wear it today with my work out and see how it feels as exercise apparel or how comfortable it is just to wear and update later. The material of the suit is quite nice and soft. The top is full and has nice padding inside that can be removed as well. The straps are adjustable. It’s a really cute suit that can universally fit many body types and look cute. I do recommend it. I chose the burnt orange, and it is a beautiful color! I'd say this set runs true to size--I generally wear an XS or XXS and took a chance on the Small, and it is a bit loose and gappy, but not so much so that I cannot wear it for a walk or jog on a hot day. (Swimming, maybe not--I'm afraid adding the water weight would make it gap too much, or fall). That said, if the fit is perfect, the fabric would be perfect for a day at the lake, beach, or pool. The fabric provides a lot of stretch. The bottoms have great coverage. The underneath layer isn't cut like underwear, but instead like short shorts. I do wish this came in a smaller size, but I'd say. if you match the size guide measurements more closely, you'll get a great fit, Washes well with no apparent color bleeding, at least for the burnt orange color.
