At 1st glance - I'm impressed. they look and feel just like the pictures if not better. I got a size 9 as I'm usually an 8.5 and they only offered full size and the shape of cowboy boots often fit tight. They are probably true to size, as they fit a little loosely, nothing a set of bigger socks won't fix. I will update regarding how comfortable they are when I actually wear them for an evening - I just tried them on. Understanding - It is my understanding that this style footwear is not known for their comfort and I'm at the age that I pretty much wear orthotic insoles in my shoes cuz my feet hurt.... so a whimpy footwear person now.
