For the knife sharpening challenged, this knife sharpener works well. It has a sticky bottom to keep it in place while using. I was a little worried that it would be hard to remove from the countertop but it came off easily. I would suggest you keep the clear seal it comes with to put back on for storage. I don't have room or need to keep it out so I am hoping the sticky bottom stays clean. It is small so might be a little dangerous without the sticky bottom. It is very easy to use.
