I bought this to make smaller meal preps while I’m in the single season of my life. I don’t need a bigger size since I don’t have a family to feed, and this one works perfectly for me! I bought a rotisserie chicken from Walmart one time, picked all the meat off for meal prepping, and then I threw the rest of the carcass into the pot with some water to make a bone broth and let it simmer for a few days (I was busy with work). I’d turn it on the warm setting at night, and then I’d turn it onto the low setting during the day. When I eventually had enough time to finish processing the bone broth, I took a bone out with a fork, and it turned to a paste with the slightest friction between my fingers. I LOVE my little crockpot!! I'm a senior who has limited standing ability and I love that I can throw stuff into a crockpot and forget about it! I make chili. pot roasts, and all kinds of food in mine! Love to cook my peice of pork roast in there all night and by morning it's ready to shred..then I add my bbq sauce and cook it some more!!!
