I recently moved, and went from cooking in a HUGE crockpot, to this cute little thing, in the right motif for my kitchen, for only 2 people! It was a pleasure throwing everything in and not having to worry about it all day. It was great to not think about where we were going to get dinner that night and could continue unpacking and getting things put together. I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this to make smaller meal preps while I’m in the single season of my life. I don’t need a bigger size since I don’t have a family to feed, and this one works perfectly for me! I bought a rotisserie chicken from Walmart one time, picked all the meat off for meal prepping, and then I threw the rest of the carcass into the pot with some water to make a bone broth and let it simmer for a few days (I was busy with work). I’d turn it on the warm setting at night, and then I’d turn it onto the low setting during the day. When I eventually had enough time to finish processing the bone broth, I took a bone out with a fork, and it turned to a paste with the slightest friction between my fingers. It turned out to make an amazing bone broth, and I plan to keep using it for little meal preps like this! Read more

Would have given 5 stars but I can hear the lid 'pop' as it heats up & cools down ...at some point it is going to crack. I have a silicone lid I can use once that happens but probably not safe to leave unattended or use around kids. Read more

I LOVE my little crockpot!! I'm a senior who has limited standing ability and I love that I can throw stuff into a crockpot and forget about it! I make chili. pot roasts, and all kinds of food in mine! Love to cook my peice of pork roast in there all night and by morning it's ready to shred..then I add my bbq sauce and cook it some more!!! YUM YUM!! I'm very pleased with the way it works. Here's the problem..the crock part of it fell into my sink and broke..I need a new one! Does anyone know where I can buy one? Thanks..Deb C Read more
