So, i make pumpkin pies from well... a pumpkin. i used to use a blender but never again. This is way less clean up, it is much faster (all at once, no more batches in the blender), there is less waste (over blended into liquid) as you only blend where needed. This easily saved me over an hour from previous years' experience. Less waste equals more pie and let's face it, who doesn't need more pie?! Read more

Ok - so that everyone knows. In April 2016 I bought a KitchenAid KHB2352CU 3-Speed Hand Blender which was the most complete set full of accesories. Because I live in South America someone plugged it directly into the outlet with the transformer and burned it. I chatted with Kitchenaid trying to get them to advise me if I could buy just a blender which would be compatible with the accesories so I wouldn't have to throw them away. They kept repeating like robots (and they weren't) that they had no product compatible and that I needed to contact the International site. So I just took a leap of faith and bought this one which looked almost identical to my burnt one. As it turned out it's EXACTLY THE SAME MODEL. I can use it with all my old accesories. So ladies and gentlement DO NOT BE FOOLED by these companies that tell you you have to buy the whole thing. I just saved like 300 dollars buying the blender for 49 and using my old (almost new) accesories. As for the product itself, I don't find it extremely powerful, the button is kind of uncomfortable and I wish it had some accesory that you could nail to the wall and hang the blender there. I just bought it because it was cheap and had the accessories. With Kitchenaid I find that the stand mixer and the food processor are amazing but blenders, hand blenders and kitchen utensils are not very good quality. Read more

This gadget really saves time. I delayed getting one of these thinking I could just use a potato masher or my food processor to puree soups. This thing has the whole process done in a jiffy and is really easy to clean. (Way easier to clean than my food processor!) Read more

This is real sturdy and I didn't get all the extra attachments as I didn't need them but upon using it the first time it was supposed to have two speeds I found the only speeds it has are either on or off those are your two speeds. I got it for smoothies but I put spinach in with my smoothie and it does not grind those up so they float to the top I have to scoop them off and eat them first otherwise it gets stuck in my throat cuz you're not puree enough. It only has two blade. Even the cheaper ones have four blades and do a better job. I thought the KitchenAid would be better but not and more costly too. I had hoped that it would take care of the spinach better than that makes me wonder if I made guacamole if it would be lumpy Read more
