LOVE LOVE LOVE Kite Hill products but the cream cheese flavors - chive and everything - are so delicious that I crave them. Healthy, no harm to animals, what’s more to love? Maybe if calcium and B12 were added… that would be even better. Slightly high price point as well but I say “slightly” bc I realize this is a specialty product made from almonds. I’ve tried a number of dairy free cream cheese brands, and most were bland at best, some really disappointing. This is creamy and spreads beautifully on a bagel, has the same tang as regular cream cheese. The chive flavor is our favorite, but the plain is good to use in recipes and sweet things like frosting. I was craving everything bagels and chive cream cheese during the pandemic, but didn’t want to risk going out getting one. Luckily, I stumbled upon this chive cream cheese and bought it once I discovered it. After the first bite, I found the texture to be slightly off, as if it was a lite, healthy cream cheese. I thought nothing of it after the next bite and continued eating it because it was delicious! I didn’t realize this was dairy free cream cheese until two days later when I was reading the lid - I was completely shocked! I bought this dairy free cream cheese by accident thinking it was regular chive cream cheese and was fooled for several days thinking it was the real thing - that’s how good it was! Now that I have had to go on a dairy free diet, I am so happy I stumbled upon this product because I can still enjoy my cream cheese. It was fate! I definitely recommend. Read more
